Hamilton County, located in Ohio, sought to enhance the security of sensitive court documents while making them accessible online. They implemented ID Shield Software, developed by Extract Systems in collaboration with PROWARE, their existing Case Management System provider. The county’s aspiration to provide online access to court records was driven by a previous incident of identity theft resulting from the accidental publication of unredacted records. By implementing Extract’s redaction technology, Hamilton County successfully achieved its goal, becoming the 21st government agency in Ohio to do so.
