Wisconsin’s Summer Tech Festival

May 14, 2024

As a longtime Milwaukee resident…friends and colleagues have heard me talk about our annual music festival Summerfest, but people probably have not heard me talk about Summerfest Tech.

“Summerfest Tech began in 2018 with the goal of leveraging the Summerfest brand to showcase technology and provide a forum for attendees from the tech and business community to network, educate, and celebrate the evolution of technology. Summerfest Tech continues to champion the regional business community, while shining the spotlight on Wisconsin’s growing reputation as a tech hub, highlighting the growth and opportunity in the region. Programming from local, regional, and national speakers, as well as a cash-prize pitch competition, connects the tech community around relevant topics.”

Summerfest Tech will be held June 24-27, 2024. It is an in-person event that is free of charge, but also offers attendees the ability to participate virtually. A complete schedule can be found at Summerfest Tech 2024 – Summerfest Tech (summerfest-tech.com).

In just a few short years the event has grown considerably. With an impressive line-up of speakers from Microsoft, AWS, and Google to Wisconsin fixtures like Generac, Charter, Rexnord, BMO, Children’s Hospital and America Family just to name a few. For a complete list of speakers and their companies visit Summerfest Tech 2024 Speakers – Summerfest Tech (summerfest-tech.com).

The event kicks-off on Milwaukee’s lakefront with a session titled, “BREWS, BEATS, AND BYTES: THE FUSION OF TECH, ENTERTAINMENT, AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT”, and each day ends with a networking/happy hours session to talk with peers in the technology space.

I encourage you to sign-up to attend Register – Summerfest Tech (summerfest-tech.com) or consider being a volunteer or sponsor.
