HealthyData Virtual Academy Returns March 7th, 2023

It’s back! By popular demand, Extract will be hosting its sixth HealthyData Virtual Academy upcoming on Tuesday, March 7th at 10am central. These events have been a fantastic way for us to connect with prospects and customers while sharing from experts across the healthcare industry.

We’re excited to announce that the theme of our upcoming event is “The Difference is in the Data,” and the show will be worth up to two AHIMA approved CEU credits. Each session will be about an hour long with some time reserved for questions and answers.

The first credit will be available for a presentation from one of our own at Extract, Norm Kruse, MBA. He’ll be detailing the steps you need to take to build support for an HIM or Revenue Cycle project you’d like to get implemented at your organization. Participants will learn the best ways to get coveted executive buy-in on projects and learn what types of deliverables are the most effective in swaying upper management.

Also offering one credit will be “Elevating Forms Management: How to Streamline Process & Enhance Compliance,” a presentation to be offered by Interlace Health’s Director of Product Marketing Dessiree Paoli and Rochester Regional Health’s HIM Content Specialist, Diana Adam-Podgornik, RHIT.

These two presenters will be diving into the current state or patient forms today along with what concrete steps can be taken to improve things. The session will include discussions on organizational structure, governance, eSignatures, and form structure, standardization, and specifications. You’ll learn how to create the committees needed to get things done and how to make your processes uniform.
