Happy Days – PRIA returns with Hybrid Conference in Milwaukee
After two remote conferences, the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) is holding a hybrid conference next week in Milwaukee with in-person and remote attendees. The Conference is August 30th through September 2nd at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee.
There are a lot of great topics on the agenda including a tour of the Milwaukee Register of Deeds office, updates from various workgroups on redaction and indexing best practices, cloud strategies for the future, a session on why con artists are forging title docs, and more. For a complete agenda please visit the PRIA website: Events & News | Property Records Industry Association (pria.us). The conference isn’t all work there are several networking events including one at Drink Wisconsibly in the Deer District next to the Fiserv Forum home of the 2021 World Champion Milwaukee Bucks.
Extract is co-sponsoring a networking event with US Imaging on September 1st in the Pfister’s Imperial Ballroom that includes a performance from Ava August, the youngest contestant to ever compete on The Voice.
For me, this is my first conference since the PRIA Winter Symposium in Austin, Texas pre-pandemic. Conveniently Milwaukee is my hometown, so it makes the transition back to normalcy a little easier before I start hitting the road officially next month. If anyone has questions or would like to know more about things to do while in Milwaukee please don’t hesitate to reach out. For those with flexible travel plans, the world’s largest music festival kicks off September 2nd Home | Summerfest, The World’s Largest Music Festival.
