Madison, Wisc., - December 17, 2009 - Extract Systems announces the deployment of ID Shield Redaction Software to redact the backfile of land records filed in Lake County, Illinois. ID Shield Redaction Software will redact Social Security Numbers, Federal Employer Identification Numbers (FEIN) and Employer Identification Numbers (EIN) from Lake County’s backfile of over 25 million images. Illinois Public Act 095-0875 mandated the removal of personal information from all publicly displayed records and required counties to create and implement a plan for compliance by January 2010.

MADISON, Wisc. – July 20, 2010 - Extract Systems, a leading provider of data indexing and redaction software, is pleased to announce that the Circuit Court Clerk in Fairfax County, VA has selected ID Shield™ Automated Redaction Software.   Extract Systems will process and redact Social Security numbers from nearly 40 million images of scanned backfile records, including deeds, wills, fictitious names, notaries and bonds at its Madison, WI facility.   ID Shield Redaction Software will also be integrated into the Circuit Court’s recording processes, to redact Social Security numbers from the estimated 2.5 million pages of newly recorded documents filed each year.
